TEACHERS
Kinan is a 500 hour qualified Yoga Teacher, he completed his first teacher training with Siddhi Yoga in Goa, India in 2015. He then went on to complete a 300 hour advanced teacher training again in India, this time
with the world renowned Yogrishi Vishvketu of the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram Rishikesh.
His interest in yoga began in 2010 as an alternate form of therapy to recover from a sports related injury. Since then it has helped him to overcome other chronic injuries such as Carpal Tunnel and Shoulder Impingement Syndrome. It is his goal to share such experiences and knowledge gained along his yogic journey with others, so that they too can benefit from yoga in a similar way.
The aim for each of his classes is to allow for students to gain the maximum benefit during their practice, whilst maintaining structural alignment of the body in order to improve posture, and vitality, as well as establish a deeper mind body connection. He achieves this through various types of yoga practices such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative Yoga, and Pranayama (breath control)

Monica is a certified 500-hour teacher from the U.S. with over 600-hours of training. Drawn to yoga off and on since 1997, it was ultimately the thing that helped Monica to find more freedom, and it continues to do so. After attending a yoga retreat in Nicaragua in 2014, she realized how unhappy she was and how disconnected she had become from herself and what she truly wanted. She then began the process of change and left her job, relationship, country, and the societally approved path to follow her heart and pursue her lifelong dream of living abroad.
As such, she believes yoga is a tool of transformation that helps us move beyond the past, social conditioning, unconscious habit patterns, limiting beliefs, and our small separate sense of self in order to rediscover our true nature. It's her life's work to share this with others as she believes that to change the world we must start with ourselves, and as we reconnect with ourselves, we reconnect with others and the planet for the ultimate benefit of all.
A former scientist and one time wilderness therapy field guide, she brings her scientific mind and sense of adventure to her teaching. Monica is currently excited to incorporate into her sessions her studies in Yoga Nidra, polyvagal theory, and the intersection of yoga, mindfulness, neuroscience, and embodiment.
